Through the Guadalupe Valley, we find multiple renowned wineries and vineyards. The B.C. Wine Route, which runs from Ensenada to Tecate, crosses the valleys of Guadalupe, Calafia, and San Antonio de las Minas.
The Wine Route tour offers the chance to visit the most prestigious family vineyards or opt to discover smaller production offerings. Likewise, along the way, you will find countless restaurants where you can sample the local cuisine, spas where you can relax, clothing and craft shops, and beautiful natural spaces. In addition, we suggest visiting the Museum of Vine and Wine, which exhibits the history of regional wine production since ancient times.
The grapes used in the production of Baja California white wine are Chenin Blanc, Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. While Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Syrah, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Petit Syrah, and Malbec are used for red wines.
