Benjamin Novelo, a visionary businessman and enthusiast of Mexican history, had the goal of establishing a history museum in Ensenada, B.C. 40 years ago that would exhibit and express to our guests and visitors the beauty and pride of being Mexican.
Therefore, starting in 1987, the museum "40 Centuries of Mexican Culture" was developed with the objective of promoting and educating about the history of the country's ethnic cultures. Today, the museum displays a variety of art pieces, including fossils, sculptures, masks, paintings, samples of the region's flora and fauna, and more.
The museum will give you the opportunity to discover and learn about the past of Mexico's cultures and thus enrich your knowledge. In addition, our highly trained staff will welcome and guide you so you can learn about each of the ethnic groups and the pieces that make up our exhibition.
